Euless offers weekly single-stream recycling through Republic Services in a blue cart. Accepted: paper, cardboard, #1 and #2 plastics, metal cans, glass. Not mandatory by ordinance.
Euless provides weekly single-stream curbside recycling to residential customers through Republic Services, with recycling collected on the same day as regular trash using a separate blue wheeled cart. Accepted materials include clean paper and cardboard (flattened), plastic bottles and jugs marked #1 PET and #2 HDPE, aluminum beverage cans, steel food cans, and glass bottles and jars. Items must be empty, rinsed, and free of significant food residue to avoid contaminating the load. Plastic bags, plastic film, tanglers like hoses and wires, Styrofoam, pizza boxes with grease, ceramics, light bulbs, and batteries are not accepted and can cause entire truckloads to be rejected. Contaminated loads also jam sorting equipment at the MRF. Euless does not have a mandatory recycling ordinance; participation is voluntary but strongly encouraged, and the single-stream program is designed to be as convenient as possible. Commercial and multi-family recycling is the responsibility of individual property owners and may be arranged through Republic Services or another private hauler. For special materials outside the curbside stream, Tarrant County operates a Household Hazardous Waste program for paint, chemicals, and electronics, and specialty recyclers accept items such as used motor oil, tires, and scrap metal. Residents can set out cardboard boxes too large for the cart beside the cart on collection day; boxes must be flattened and broken down to no larger than roughly 3 feet by 3 feet.
