060(A) requires every commercial generator to subscribe to franchisee-provided recycling collection at least once a week, more often if the volume of recyclables demands it, and the Town can review a business's container count, size and pickup frequency and order the business to adjust its service level. Businesses must segregate recyclables from garbage into a separate designated container and make sure employees, contractors, volunteers and customers do the same, and must provide enough labeled recycling receptacles, in both indoor and outdoor areas, wherever trash containers are provided to customers.

Those containers must have a blue body or lid, though a business is not required to replace a container bought before January 1, 2022 until the end of its useful life or January 1, 2036, whichever comes first, and must carry labels showing accepted and prohibited materials. 085(B). Subsection (C) allows any generator to self-haul recyclables to a processing facility instead of using franchisee service, but a commercial or multi-family self-hauler must keep delivery receipts, weight tickets, and records of the amount hauled to each facility, in cubic yards or tons, and produce proof of compliance to the Town on request.
