Hercules runs its yard-waste program through the same mandatory subscription system that covers garbage and recycling. 01 defines "green waste" broadly to include tree, shrub, or bush trimmings, grass cuttings, yard clippings, plants, wood, leaves, branches, and tree pieces, treating it as a recyclable rather than garbage. 02 caps how long any solid waste, green waste included, may sit on a property at seven days, after which keeping or accumulating it becomes unlawful unless it is being held for reclamation and poses no health hazard.
