A.Authority to operate. The city may operate a waste diversion center for drop-off of recyclable materials and disposal of tree limbs at a location determined by the director. The days and hours of operation shall be determined by the director.B.Fees for tree limb disposal.1.Use by city residents for noncommercial use. Residents of the city shall have free use of the waste diversion center for their noncommercial use.2.Use by noncustomers. Noncustomers, including, but not limited to, building contractors, shall pay a fee as set forth below. The director may close use of the waste diversion center for tree limb disposal to noncustomers if the director determines that the volume of such use is interfering with the use by customers for their noncommercial use.a.Full-sized pick-up trucks. The fee shall be $35.00 for a level pick-up load and $40.00 for a cab-high pick-up load.b.Mini pick-up trucks. The fee shall be $30.00 for a level pick-up load and $35.00 for a cab-high pick-up load.c.Cars and minivans. The fee shall be $25.00 regardless of how full the vehicle is.d.Full-sized vans. The fee shall be $35.00 regardless of how full the vehicle is.e.Others. For any vehicle not listed above, the fee shall be $20.00 per cubic yard.C.Regulations. The director may promulgate and post at the waste diversion center rules and regulations governing its use.
