Under SPMC animal control provisions and Ventura County Animal Regulation Ordinance, all dogs must be on a leash not exceeding 6 feet in length when on any public street, sidewalk, park, or public property in Santa Paula. Dogs may be off-leash only in designated off-leash areas or on private property with the owner's permission. Dogs at large (running loose) may be impounded by Ventura County Animal Services.
