1, General, to require that elevators, dumbwaiters and escalators in Medford be maintained in compliance with the Oregon Elevator Specialty Code rather than a locally written maintenance standard. The section requires the most current certificate of inspection to be on display at all times within the elevator, or attached to the escalator or dumbwaiter, and to be either available for public inspection in the building operator's office or posted in a publicly conspicuous location approved by the code official.
