Section 94-3.3.6 of the Zoning Ordinance lists accessory uses that are prohibited outright, and subsection 2 focuses on the Residence Districts specifically: commercial auto repair or service is item (a) on that list, prohibited alongside outdoor storage or display of materials, item (b), and overnight parking of heavy commercial vehicles, item (c). Because the ban sits in the accessory-use article rather than the home-occupation section, it cannot be cured by applying for a home-occupation special permit under § 94-3.4.2: that provision only authorizes home occupations that comply with the as-of-right conditions of § 94-3.4.1, none of which contemplate vehicle repair work, and it does not override the flat prohibition in § 94-3.3.6.

Chapter 14, Article VI separately regulates auto repair shops as a licensed commercial use starting at Sec. 14-431, but that article governs shops in commercial and industrial districts; it does not create a residential exception, so a Medford homeowner cannot use it to legitimize repair work performed at a residence.
