Full Breakdown

Under Chapter 5.68, operating a body art establishment or working as a body artist for consideration without a city clerk license/permit is unlawful. Applicants undergo a police chief background check and a health officer facility inspection covering sanitation, sterilization, and record-keeping standards. An establishment license costs $165 a year, a body artist permit $75 a year, and temporary establishments $100 per 14-day period. No one under 18 may receive body art unless the narrow Wyo. Stat. § 14-3-107 exception applies.

Violations & Fines

Operating or performing body art without a valid license/permit is a misdemeanor under City Code § 1.24.010, with each day of violation a separate offense; existing licenses/permits also face suspension or revocation for noncompliance.
