030(A)(10) of the Town Code, part of the performance standards attached to the table of permitted uses for the town's NC, B-1, B-2, and MX business zones. The rule applies measurements taken from parcel boundary to parcel boundary rather than from a building or entrance. A medical marijuana use, whether a dispensary, cultivation site, or caregiver location, must be at least 2,000 feet from any other medical marijuana use, preventing two facilities from clustering in the same commercial corridor. It must also sit at least 1,000 feet from any public, private, parochial, or charter school, and at least 1,000 feet from a child care center, library, religious use, public park, or residential substance abuse diagnostic and treatment facility.

Beyond the siting buffers, the same section caps how a dispensary can operate once it clears the distance test. m. Designated caregiver cultivation locations are separately capped at a 250-square-foot cultivation area under subsection (11), and off-site dispensary cultivation locations are capped at 2,000 square feet of floor area under subsection (13). Because these are zoning performance standards rather than a licensing chapter, compliance is verified by the planning and building department at the site-plan stage.
