Peoria has not opted out of the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act, but a Medical/Adult Use Cannabis Dispensary can open only as a special use under Unified Development Code § 5.3.3.O, and only in the CN, C1, CG, C2, B1, I1, I2, or I3 zoning districts under the § 5.2.2 permitted use table. No residential, office, or agricultural district allows one.
