Recycled Water Rules
In the City of Santee, Municipal Code Section 13.36.060 requires new and rehabilitated landscape irrigation systems to be designed so they can use recycled water now or in the future, and requires any system that actually uses recycled water to be designed and operated under all applicable local and State law. Landscapes irrigated with recycled water count as special landscape areas, with their ET adjustment factor capped at 1.0.
