Building Permits
Before the North Carolina State Building Code permit can issue for construction, alteration, or a change in land or building use inside an Alamance County watershed, the applicant must first obtain a Watershed Protection Permit from the Watershed Administrator under UDO § 6.10.8. Single-family residential development is exempt from this extra permit step.
