Pool Permits
Any owner who wants to build, enlarge, alter, repair, move or demolish a swimming pool or spa in unincorporated Fayette County must first apply to the code official and get a permit under Code § 102-2339. The county administers this through the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, adopted by reference in § 102-22(11), and applications lapse after 180 days of inaction.
