Board Governance
Any subdivision in unincorporated Granville County with private roads or shared common areas must form a property owners' association under Code § 32-1065. The association has to hold real legal authority to maintain those roads and amenities and to compel dues from owners, and its governing documents go to the planning director before the county will approve and record the final plat.
