Flood Elevation
In flood-prone parts of unincorporated Granville County, Sec. 32-330 requires new residential construction to have its reference level elevated to the county's regulatory flood protection elevation, manufactured home parks to file an evacuation plan with the floodplain administrator and local emergency management coordinator, and any temporary structure to carry a removal plan triggered at least 72 hours before a hurricane makes landfall.
