Kane County treats an infestation of rodents, vermin or other pests as a declared nuisance under Code Sec. 15-2(D)(5), and puts the extermination duty squarely on the property owner whenever poor upkeep let the infestation take hold. Violations run up to $500.00 per day under Sec. 15-6.
