Delivery Truck Noise
Kent County's noise ordinance bars loading, unloading or handling boxes, crates and containers in a residential district between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. if it creates a noise disturbance, with an exception only for emergencies. Violations run through the noise code's escalating fine schedule, from $30 for a first offense up to $10,000 for a fifth, with every day counted separately.
