Density Bonus Law
Lake County's rural conservation subdivision rules let developers add up to a 25% increase over the density their zoning district would otherwise allow. LDR § 17.05.00 lets the Board of County Commissioners grant the increase when a project sets aside extra protected open space beyond the minimum, or dedicates land for public trails, recreation, or spray irrigation fields.
