Unincorporated Mason County lets a Master Development Plan applicant request extra dwelling units above base zoning density under MCC 17.70.015(b)(2)(C). Rural applicants can reach the density allowed for a performance subdivision, while urban growth area applicants earn one bonus unit per gross acre for every five percent of extra open space they set aside.
