Fireworks
In the unincorporated Florida Keys (Monroe County), Section 13-3 of the County Code requires a county fire marshal permit, filed at least 30 days ahead, for any fireworks display, and sets fixed distance limits: 100 feet from any building, a half mile from hospitals and nursing homes, and 400 feet from residentially zoned land, with each display capped at four hours.
