Food Truck Permits

Florida law strips Okaloosa County of authority to license mobile food trucks. Fla. Stat. § 509.102(2)(a) bars any county from requiring a separate license, registration or permit beyond the state's mobile food dispensing vehicle license (§ 509.241) and fee (§ 509.251), and bars the county from banning food trucks anywhere within its jurisdiction.
