Flood Elevation

In the unincorporated area's mapped floodplain, Rockdale County Code § 320-5(b)(1) requires new homes to sit with their lowest floor at least three feet above the base flood elevation, or one foot above the future-conditions flood elevation, whichever is higher, before the Department of Planning and Development will approve construction.
