Flood Zones
Saline County's Quorum Court adopted the Flood Damage Prevention Code by ordinance to regulate development inside FEMA-mapped Special Flood Hazard Areas in the unincorporated county. Enacted under Ark. Code Ann. § 14-268-101 et seq., § 270.00 restricts floodplain development, ties enforcement to the county's Floodplain Administrator, and backs it with a misdemeanor charge and fines up to $500 per day.
