Height Limits

Unincorporated St. Tammany Parish does not set one blanket fence-height number for every yard, but it regulates fence height where sight lines matter most: within a corner or driveway sight triangle, UDC Section 600-2.2 bans any fence taller than 3 feet unless it is an open, see-through design, and caps solid fence columns in that zone at 18 inches wide. A fence up to 7 feet elsewhere on the lot does not need a building permit.
