Light Trespass & Shielding

St. Tammany Parish's outdoor lighting standard exists specifically to minimize light trespass, and UDC Section 600-2.1 backs that purpose with an aiming rule: any spot or flood luminaire of 3,000 lumens or less cannot be aimed or directed so its light falls on a neighboring residential building or glares into oncoming traffic.
