In unincorporated Sumter County, mobile vendors may set up only on parcels zoned or designated commercial, mixed-use or industrial under the county comprehensive plan, per Sumter County Code § 13-537(c). Vending hours run 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and operators must remove all equipment, inventory and signage before the day's business closes.
