Sumter County lets a landowner in the agricultural future land use category trade a PUD rezoning and a permanent conservation easement for extra density: one dwelling unit per three gross acres, capped at 100 lots, instead of the far larger minimum lot sizes that ordinary agricultural zoning requires.
