Agricultural Zoning Protection
Terrebonne Parish's Open Land (O-L) zoning district, created by Sec. 28-50 of the parish code, protects large open, agricultural and forestry tracts within the zoned areas of Terrebonne Parish (the Houma area). Agriculture and livestock or poultry raising are permitted uses by right, alongside accessory uses, archery ranges and public parks.
