Anyone going door to door in Terrebonne Parish to sell goods, take orders or solicit donations must first file a registration statement with the parish government, pay a $20 registration fee plus $1 per identification card, and carry that ID card while soliciting. Solicitation is barred before 9:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m. Violators face a fine up to $200 or ten days in jail.
