Fireworks

Inside any Whitfield County park or recreation facility, possessing, displaying, using or trying to ignite firecrackers, fireworks, smoke bombs, rockets, black powder guns or other pyrotechnics is unlawful unless the parks and recreation department issues a written permit first. The county code carries no separate county-wide fireworks ordinance outside its park rules, so this permit requirement is specific to county park property.

It shall be unlawful for any person using the parks, grounds, or facilities either to perform or permit to be performed any of the following acts: ... Smoke Detectors
