Milton, WI Curfew Laws: Juvenile Curfew (2026)

Section 50-114, adopted by Ordinance No. 220 in 2005 and tied to Wisconsin's curfew-authorizing statute Wis. 342(1g)(i), sets age-tiered curfew hours for the City of Milton. m. the next day on weekends. on weekends. Exceptions cover a minor accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult with legal custody, a minor on a directed errand, a minor whose job requires presence during curfew hours, interstate travel, and attendance at approved school functions. Section 50-114(b) separately makes it unlawful for a parent, guardian or other adult with custody of a minor under 16 to knowingly permit that minor to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in public places during curfew hours, subject to the same accompaniment and errand exceptions.

Places of amusement such as bowling alleys, arcades and pool halls may not admit anyone under 16 during curfew hours unless accompanied by an adult. School, church and charitable functions can be exempted from curfew if registered with the police department at least two weeks ahead, capped at five such events per organization per calendar year, and the minor must carry proof of attendance.
