Dearborn city parks are closed from dusk to dawn, and entering a closed park is a civil infraction under the parks and recreation code.
All Dearborn city parks are closed nightly from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., or from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise when that is more restrictive, unless a specific park posts different hours or a permit has been issued for an after-hours event. Persons found inside a closed park, including on trails, parking lots, sports fields, and pavilions, may be cited for trespass or a park ordinance violation. Fishing at Ford Field and certain lagoons may be allowed under extended hours with separate rules. Vehicles remaining in park parking lots after closure are subject to ticketing and towing, and loitering in a closed park is grounds for a police response.
