120(B)(2)(a) sets residential fence height for interior lots: no fence may exceed four feet in the front yard area of a property. Wing fencing extending from the front corners of the residence to the side property lines may reach six feet, and fencing along side property lines past the front wall plane through to the rear property line, including fencing against an alley or service drive, may also reach six feet. Any fencing that adjoins an alley or service drive must additionally comply with clear vision triangle standards where applicable.

120(B)(2)(b), except that no fencing over three feet may stand within a clear vision triangle, and fencing adjoining an alley, service drive or driveway again must meet clear vision triangle requirements. 120(B)(2), Exception). 120(C)(2) sets a flat eight-foot cap for agricultural, commercial and industrial perimeter fencing, without the front/side/rear tiering used for residential lots. 120(A): height is measured from finished grade to the top of the fence, or from a higher-grade commercial or industrial pad where that produces a taller effective screen against an abutting residential property.
