Humble Code Art. 8.10 prohibits manufacturing, assembling, storing, keeping, selling, offering for sale, possessing with intent to sell, discharging, igniting, or detonating fireworks within city limits without a valid permit. The fire marshal is authorized to seize and destroy fireworks found in violation. Controlled fireworks displays require a permit from the city manager on recommendation of the fire marshal, along with a fire safety plan. Allowing a minor to possess fireworks is also a violation.
