Humble Code §8.03.011 prohibits construction, demolition, and power lawn mower operation between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Heavy equipment (§8.03.008) also prohibited between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Under §8.03.011, it is unlawful to operate a motor-driven lawn mower or engage in construction or demolition work between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Section 8.03.008 separately prohibits pile drivers, steam shovels, pneumatic hammers, and similar loud equipment between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Emergency permits may be issued free of charge by the police department. Governmental subdivisions and public utilities are exempt from restricted hours in emergencies.
