Humble does not impose a blanket overnight street parking ban. Vehicles may generally remain on residential streets overnight provided they are currently registered, operable, and comply with all posted restrictions and the Code of Ordinances.
The City of Humble does not have a citywide overnight parking ban on residential streets. Vehicles may park on public streets overnight provided they are currently registered, display valid license plates, and are in operable condition. Vehicles must still comply with all posted restrictions, fire hydrant clearances, and traffic safety requirements. Inoperable or unregistered vehicles left on public streets are subject to the city's abandoned vehicle ordinance and may be tagged and towed after notice. During flood events, the city may issue emergency parking restrictions in flood-prone areas near the San Jacinto River and other waterways. Certain commercial areas and streets near George Bush Intercontinental Airport may have posted overnight parking restrictions. Recreational vehicles and trailers parked on streets may be subject to time limitations. The Humble Police Department handles overnight parking enforcement.
While overnight parking is generally permitted, inoperable or unregistered vehicles may be tagged and towed after notice. Vehicles violating posted restrictions or emergency flood parking orders may be towed at the owner's expense.
