Outside these hours, any construction noise must comply with the general 75 dB(A) peak limit and the 5 dB above ambient nighttime residential standard. Emergency utility work to restore public utilities or protect from imminent danger is exempt at all hours per Sec. 20-1(g)(3). Pasadena adopted the International Building Code with local amendments under Chapter 9.
