017. Subsection (2) ties the code's 'Wildfire Risk Area' directly to the county's own mapping: the area is defined as equivalent to Jackson County's defined wildfire hazard area/zone, so Medford does not draw a separate city map, it adopts whatever boundary the county has already designated. That definition matters because two other Medford ordinances turn on it. 430(1)(e) requires any structure sitting inside a wildfire hazard zone to keep a minimum 100-foot firebreak, treated as defensible space, around the building's perimeter, with the width of an adjoining road or driveway allowed to count toward that 100 feet.
