A single permit can run for a full calendar year or for a single event of up to 48 consecutive hours.
Violations & Fines
The City Clerk administers mobile food permits and can decline to renew or can pull a permit for violations of Section 7.01's operating rules, including the sidewalk and crosswalk obstruction ban in Section 7.01(4)(d). Operating without the required permit, or violating any Section 7.01 regulation, is also a general Code violation subject to a forfeiture under Section 30.04, the citywide penalty schedule that applies whenever a chapter does not set its own fine.
