The facility must stay within 200 feet of an approved, readily available restroom and hand-washing facility, is limited to one truck per permit, cannot function as a drive-in window business, and may display only a menu board sign, no portable advertising. 090 opens a second, separate track: MFFs may operate on an annual basis at construction sites in residential, commercial, office-professional and industrial zoning districts, and ice cream trucks may run fixed routes through residential areas, but only during normal business hours since 24-hour operation is barred. 100 additionally may not park in a residential travel lane to conduct business. 060(16), and any alcohol sales need Alcohol and Beverage Control approval.
Violations & Fines
Operating outside the zones and conditions above, or without the Town-approved annual sticker displayed on the vehicle, exposes the vendor to permit revocation by the Community Development Director under Section 9.79.050(A)(2) if the operation causes parking, traffic, noise or litter problems, and the business is subject to closure at any time during operating hours under Section 9.79.050(B), with the applicant, owner or landowner liable for closure costs.
