Ogden City Code section 15-13-12(B) sets the zoning standards for a licensed family child care home. m. All outdoor play areas must be within a fenced area, with fence height governed by the general fence standard in section 15-13-7. Pick-up and drop-off times must be staggered so that no more than eight children are being dropped off or picked up at once, and the process cannot interfere with traffic flow on through streets. The provider must be at least eighteen years old and must be the owner and occupant of the dwelling used to provide care; if more than eight children are in care, or if more than two children in care are younger than two years old, two qualified caregivers are required, and a single provider may never care for more than four children younger than two.
