West Jordan's camping ban in section 8-13-6(F) sweeps broadly: it covers not just the city's named parks but 'plazas, open space or any other city property,' so an encampment on unimproved city land, a municipal plaza, or a vacant city-owned lot is treated the same as one pitched in a park. m. , and entering or remaining in a park during those closed hours is independently unlawful under subsection (E). The only lawful path to overnight use of city park property is a special event permit that expressly authorizes camping or lodging as part of that event; a routine park or pavilion reservation does not cover it.

Related prohibitions in the same section reinforce sanitation around any unauthorized encampment: subsection (R) requires litter and refuse to go in designated, marked city receptacles and bans dumping refuse on city property; subsection (U) bars relocating or removing city property such as tables, trash cans, or playground sand without written approval; and subsection (G) makes it unlawful to disturb landscaping, structures, turf, or soil.
