Section 13-11-3 of the Sandy City Code lists dozens of prohibited activities inside "City recreational facilities," the parks, recreation areas and recreation centers defined in Section 13-11-1 that the City owns, operates or maintains. " The same list separately bars parking a vehicle or trailer overnight in a facility "unless in an area where specifically allowed by posted signs," so a car, van or RV left overnight is independently prohibited under that separate provision as well. for lit fields, and states that apart from police, fire and Parks and Recreation personnel, "no one may enter a recreational facility during the hours it is closed," reinforcing that overnight presence outside a posted camping area is not allowed even before the camping-specific ban is applied.

" Section 13-11-7 makes any violation of the chapter's rules, instructions or signs an infraction unless the conduct is a greater offense under state, county or city criminal law, and separately authorizes any City employee delegated that authority to evict a violator immediately; a person told to leave who does not is guilty of a second, independent violation of the chapter.
