Full Breakdown
Sec. 366.504 sets a year-round irrigation schedule for the consolidated city-county's General Services District. In Daylight Saving Time, odd-numbered residential addresses water Wednesday and Saturday, even-numbered addresses water Thursday and Sunday, and nonresidential landscape waters Tuesday and Friday. In Eastern Standard Time the schedule tightens to one day a week: odd addresses on Saturday, even addresses on Sunday, nonresidential on Tuesday. No watering is allowed 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on any watering day, and no more than 3/4 inch per zone or one hour per zone per day. Micro-irrigation, hand-held hoses with auto shut-off, and newly installed landscape (first 60 days) are exempt under Sec. 366.505.
Violations & Fines
First violation draws a written warning; second is a $50 ticket; subsequent violations are $250 tickets. Each day of violation is a separate offense, enforced by the Director, JSO, or state law enforcement.
