Chapter 269, Article IV sets the irrigation schedule and water emergency rules for Ridgewood Water customers. Odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays and Saturdays only, even-numbered addresses on Wednesdays and Sundays only, and municipal properties on Mondays and Fridays. Handheld hoses and drip irrigation may operate any allowed day before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Automatic in-ground sprinkler systems may run only between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. Newly seeded or sodded lawns are exempt for the first 21 consecutive days of establishment, and chemical application requiring immediate watering is also exempt.
