Section 52.52(K) targets noise from bars, nightclubs, and other venues licensed under Florida's beverage law. No such licensee may allow or permit instrumental music, whether performed live or played from recordings, singing, or other entertainment between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following morning in any room where beer, wine, liquor, or other alcoholic beverages are sold or offered for sale, whether that room is indoors or outdoors. The only way around the curfew is soundproofing: if the room is built so its sound cannot disrupt the peace and quiet of the surrounding neighborhood, entertainment can run during whatever hours alcohol sales are otherwise permitted under §§ 83.01 et seq., Weston's alcoholic beverage licensing chapter.
