Violations & Fines
A first violation of Chapter 61A draws only a written warning with no fine. Any later violation carries a penalty of up to $250, and each separate use of a leaf blower on a property counts as its own violation. Landscaping or gardening businesses are solely responsible for violations by their employees or agents, not the property owner. Appeals go to Connecticut Superior Court, Judicial District of Stamford/Norwalk.
