Yuba City has not adopted a local gas-blower ban, registration program, or day-of-week / time-of-day restriction beyond the general public-disturbance standard. Practical effect: daytime use of gas and battery leaf blowers by homeowners and commercial landscapers is permitted citywide, subject to the Chapter 17 reasonable-person test. Pre-7 a.m. or post-10 p.m. residential operation is the practical citation trigger - operation in those hours is most likely to draw a Chapter 17 'endangers the comfort, health, peace or safety' citation ($100 first / $200 second / $500 third).
