The City of Grapevine Code of Ordinances, Chapter 18 (Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions), establishes general noise regulations for the city. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily, and any sound that is plainly audible from an adjoining property during these hours is presumed to be a noise disturbance. Enforcement follows TX Penal Code 42.01 (Disorderly Conduct), which requires unreasonable noise over 85 dB and prior warning from a peace officer before citation. Grapevine Police Department handles noise complaints, and Class C misdemeanor citations carry fines up to 500 dollars per violation, with each continuing day treated as a separate offense.
