Jefferson County, WI Noise Ordinances: Vehicle Noise (2026)

Sec. 14-55 of the Jefferson County Code makes it a specific offense to operate a motor vehicle in such a manner that excessive and unnecessary noise is emitted by the tires of such vehicle. The county's cash deposit schedule under Sec. 00 forfeiture for a tire-squealing citation, on top of court costs and any statutory surcharges under Wis. ch. 814.
